Special Educator - SPED

Summary:
As a Special Educator (SPED), you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs to help them achieve academic and personal success.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
2. Provide specialized instruction in various subjects based on the students' individual needs.
3. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
4. Assess students' progress and make adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
5. Use adaptive equipment and technology to support students with special needs.
6. Monitor and track students' progress towards educational goals and objectives.
7. Provide emotional and behavioral support to help students develop social skills.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
2. Certification in Special Education is required.
3. Experience working with students with special needs.
4. Strong understanding of different learning styles and abilities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
7. Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
8. Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
