Primary English Teacher - Year 6

Summary:
The primary English Literature Teacher for Year 6 will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in English literature following the upper primary/KS2 British curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a love for literature, supporting student progress, and contributing to the overall school community.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and deliver lessons in English literature tailored to the Year 6 level based on the upper primary/KS2 British curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for reading and literature.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support students in their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and promote literacy across the school community.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
- Teaching certification along with specific training or experience in teaching English literature.
- Proven experience teaching upper primary/KS2 students in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the British curriculum, particularly in English literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
