Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Secondary Physics Teacher to join our team at a British curriculum school, specializing in teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physics and education, as well as the ability to engage and inspire students in the subject.
Job Responsibility:
1. Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the British curriculum for KS3 and KS4 students.
2. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
3. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to students and parents where necessary.
4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience for students.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
2. Previous experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, preferably within a British curriculum school.
3. Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Physics curriculum, with the ability to implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
5. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment for students.
