The Primary Islamic Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Islamic education to non-Arab students in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Islamic teachings and be able to effectively communicate these teachings to students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover Islamic studies aligned with the British curriculum.
2. Teach students about Islamic beliefs, practices, history, and culture in a clear and comprehensive manner.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring and discussing Islamic teachings.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents on a regular basis.
5. Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate Islamic teachings into the overall school curriculum.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies.
2. Teaching certification or qualification from a recognized institution.
3. Fluency in English.
4. Previous experience teaching Islamic studies to primary school students.
5. Understanding of the British curriculum and its integration with Islamic education.
6. Proficient in the Holy Quran recitation skills
