Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team and teach students in Key Stage 1. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds, foster artistic abilities, and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement art lesson plans that align with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Teach students various art techniques, such as drawing, painting, and sculpting
- Encourage creativity and self-expression through art projects and activities
- Assess and provide feedback on students' artwork to help them improve their skills
- Maintain a safe and organized art classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into cross-curricular activities
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching certification
- Proven experience teaching art to young children, preferably in Key Stage 1
- Strong artistic abilities and knowledge of various art techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
